TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Effective Date: 10th September 2024

1. Please check your booking form and confirm that all details and stay dates are correct.
2. Hotel check-in time from 02:00 pm Hotel check-out time is 11 am. We do not offer an early or late check-in/out service, but we do have chill-out areas you can use until you have access to your room. You can store your bags in the reception area.
3. If you wish to have a transfer from Goa airport, please let us know your flight number, date and exact arrival time via email to Reservation@aarambhsamsara.com or by phone at +91 9653195260, You can call us on WhatsApp also on the same number. The cost of one-way airport pick-up is 2500-3500 INR for an air-conditioned car. We use local taxi drivers who we know and find reliable but they are not employed directly by Aarambh Samsara. Payment is therefore in cash directly to the driver, or if you are unable to get cash on arrival you can pay cash to reception later at the retreat.
4. Travel Insurance Recommendation: We strongly advise all guests travelling to Aarambh Samsara Retreat to obtain comprehensive travel, cancellation, and medical insurance, as well as the appropriate visa for the duration of their trip. Travel insurance can provide coverage for unexpected events such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost or damaged luggage, offering peace of mind and financial protection during your journey. Whilst we strive to provide a safe and secure environment, unforeseen circumstances can occur, and having travel insurance can help mitigate potential risks and ensure a smoother experience during your stay.

General Payment Terms & Cancellation Policy

1. Only after the deposit or any payment is received is the reservation confirmed, before that it is only a booking enquiry.
2. Aarambh Samsara is a booking company and is therefore not liable for any loss or damage of property nor responsible for any incidents or injuries that occur while on-site at the retreat centres.
3. We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking (non-refundable and non-transferable) to secure your reservation.
4. The balance must be paid in full 3 weeks before arrival. Bookings within the last 3 weeks must be paid in full at the time of booking.
5. All bank transfers made must be supported with an email for our accounts to Reservation@aarambhsamsara.com with a copy of the bank payment confirmation (screenshot or official receipt). Aarambh Samsara is not responsible for any bank charges and foreign exchange fees on payments and refunds unless the cancellation is initiated by Aarambh Samsara.
6. For any cancellations or changes to your existing reservation, please notify the resort at reservation@aarambhsamsara.com or by phone at +91 9653195260 directly at least 24 hours before arrival.
7. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee for any agreed transfer of dates, cancellation or refund.
8. If a yoga holiday/retreat is cancelled the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, however, the following refund policy applies to the balance of the holiday cost.
9. Cancellation 0 – 30 days before the start date of the Retreat – 0% refund.
10. Cancellation 31 – 60 days before the start date of the Retreat – 50% refund.
11. Aarambh Samsara is not responsible or liable for cancellations, delays, changes or losses caused by acts of God, war, closure of airports, airline cancellations, civil strife, natural disasters, accidents, visa issues or any other events beyond our control.
12. The same applies to guests’ injuries, illnesses, and medical or psychiatric conditions developed during or after the retreat.
13. Aarambh Samsara is not to be held liable for any flight costs or flight cancellations.
14. Whilst it is unlikely that we shall have to make changes to bookings or other matters, we reserve the right to do so at any time. We shall inform you as soon as we can if this is necessary. At our discretion, Aarambh Samsara reserves the right to give concessions and last-minute discounts. This does not automatically entitle other guests to the same concessions or discounts.
15. In the unlikely event that Aarambh Samsara is unable to accommodate your booking due to unforeseen circumstances we will refund 100% of your payment or offer an alternative arrangement.
16. If the final number of people that attend and pay for your retreat is less than the number that you booked for, then you will be liable to pay for the full number unless we are given prior warning:

Notice of reduced numbers 0 – 30 days before the start date of retreat: 0% refund.

Notice of reduced numbers 31 – 60 days before the start date of retreat: 50% refund on reduced no’s

15. Please do not bring your masseurs or any other therapists without first having our approval.
16. We do not allow people to attend a group retreat and stay outside unless specially agreed; this agreement will include a daily charge.

Other Terms and Conditions

17. Although Aarambh Samsara and the local area are very safe and we provide 24/7 security we accept no responsibility for the loss or damage of your property left in your room during your stay unless such loss or damage was directly caused by our negligence.
18. Please inform the teacher if you have any injury or illness that is relevant to mention. All instructions and guidance during classes may challenge you mentally and physically, but please always stop if you are feeling any pain or sickness. Aarambh Samsara is not to be held responsible for injury or illness during or after classes and retreats. We ask that every student takes responsibility for themselves throughout their stay, on and off the mat.
19. Any lost keys will be subject to a 1000 INR replacement fee; we reserve the right to take a key deposit.
20. The retreat takes place in a quiet village in Goa. Please be mindful of the peaceful environment and avoid excessive noise.
21. Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and other guests. We reserve the right to remove participants who violate our code of conduct without a refund.
